Portable Hot Tub - Steamy Relaxtion Where You Want

If you are looking for that perfect item to enhance your relaxation you could do far worse than treat yourself to a portable hot tub.  The term "portable hot tub" or "portable spa" typically refers to a soaking tub that sits on top of the ground's surface.  Theoretically they can all be physically moved when necessary.  However, before you decide on how portable you want your hot tub to be, you should be clear on your own criteria such as true portability, price, features and design to name a few.

If you are looking for a truly portable hot tub or spa and really want to save money, you can purchase an inflatable spa for as little as $600 to $800.  One version made by Spa2Go allows you to simply inflate, fill, plug in, heat up and relax.  You will feel the massaging water effects similar to that of a hot tub at 5 to 10 times the price.

If you want something a little more upscale and with a cedar, redwood or designer heavy duty acrylic, there are plenty of consumer options.  You should be prepared to pay considerably more, but with some creative shopping you won't have to break the bank.  These hot tubs will generally have more hydrotherapy jets than the entry level spas.  However, some of them aren't as "portable" either.  Heavier and more cumbersome to move, they require multiple people and a good sized truck to do the moving.

If you look for these during the fall or winter, you should be able to find deeply discounted hot tubs and spas.  A two-person portable hot tub spa by Island Escape is being offered for around $2,500 currently on several internet sites.  Even a very attractive 5-person spa by Dreammaker can be purchased for less than $3,500.  Though portable, these are not the kind of hot tubs that you can travel with.

Of course, if you so choose, you can go complete high-end luxury portable hot tub.  Most of the hot tubs that fall into this category are not easily portable.  Though they can be moved, as they are not permanently mounted, they do require professional movers in most cases.  At any rate, these hot tubs can cost as much as $10,000 when purchased new.

Some of the pricier hot tubs made by Caldera, Cal Spas and Sundance, for example, can include amenities like strategically located hydrotherapy jets, tactile therapy bumps for the feet, contoured sitting areas to enhance comfort and relaxation, and many other features.  Though the price is steep, their claim is that they bring the resort experience to everyday living.

So for whatever your definition of "portable" is, there is a hot tub for you.  If you want to save money and easily take your spa with you, you have a solution.  If you want to make that luxury purchase to plunk on top of your patio and pamper yourself to the limit, you also can find an answer.  Start soaking up the enjoyment and get yourself a portable hot tub today.
