Cheap Hot Tubs: The Life Of Luxury For Less Dough

Perhaps you are enticed and intrigued by the idea of being a hot tub owner.  The idea of spending a peaceful evening soaking away has you contemplating a purchase.  However, some of the prices you have seen have made you swallow hard and think twice despite your initial hopes.

Not to worry.  With some clever investigating and a little patience a cheap hot tub (cheap in price, but not in quality) can be yours.  Based on what you are looking for in a spa, there are a load of options to suit each person.

You may have gone the traditional route and done some window shopping at local dealers or spa resellers and been deflated because of the price tag.  Well, if your objective is simply to get a good soak after work or on the weekend and not have to shell out a bunch of money, a nice option for you might be an inflatable spa.

Spa2go, Blue Sea and Aero make these easy to use hot tubs for $700 to $800.  Just inflate, fill with water, heat and start soaking.  These not huge, invite-the-whole-neighborhood hot tubs but if cheap and functional is you goal, these are the answer.

Perhaps you are willing to spend a little more money and a cheap hot tub for you means having to spend considerably less than the $5,000 to $6,000 that your show-off brother-in-law spent.  If you are willing to wait to make your purchase until late summer or fall, you can often find some of the best at considerably discounted levels.  If you spend some time searching on the internet, I assure you that you will be able to find some incredible deals.  I have regularly seen high end hot tubs made by Cal Spa, Caldera, Bull Frog, Sundance and others, complete with accessories and supplies for half price or less.

Finding a high quality, but really cheap hot tub might lead you to the classifieds of your newspaper or even some of the internet auction and classified sites.   Some people lose interest in their hot tub.  Some may need to move and don’t have the vehicle or manpower to move their hot tub or spa with them.  Still others are looking to upgrade and are willing to let their current hot tub go for pennies on the dollar.  If you peruse the newspaper and the aforementioned sites you may find some incredible deals.  Just remember that any parts and repairs will not likely be covered under dealer or factory warranty.  But if you consider yourself handy and are willing to lift and haul, you could find a real steal.

So there are plenty of inexpensive options.  After deciding what cheap means for you, make the search a fun one.   Your soaking pleasure is more reasonably priced than you think.
